Well, I beat Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter. Twice! Although it's kinda annoying how people still say Ryu has a low D-ratio when his is now 1/256, as opposed to 1/8192. But, uh...I have almost every cutscene unlocked/seen? I don't think there are any D-ratio doors that are locked higher then 256, so I should be all set this playthrough. Yes, I am going to try and get D-ratio 1/4. I'm not quite sure what the use of that is, but it should be good.
Also: I am going to learn to draw. I am posting this here so people can annoy me about it until I am good at it.

Okay: Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter is an evil, evil game.
Alright, basic info: You have a D-counter. when the D-counter gets to 100%, you die. Game Over. Also, using various abilities raises it...Dragon Morph is 1.00%, using dragon abilities is 1.00% through 1.75%.
Now, I finished my first fight with the powers, and I had a 008.27% D-counter. We watch it. Dialouge:
(I don't really remember who said what)
"Okay, it's at 8.27...I hope it goes down."
"Oh, look, it's at 8.26 now..."
"Unless that's an 8"
"It's a six"
"...Now it's at nine."
"Charlie! Go look and see how you get the D-Counter down!"
*Charlie is in the other room, on Furcadia/miniclan*
"Oh, wow...you guys are screwed..The D-counter never goes down ever."
"In fact, it goes up every nine to twenty steps, and every time it's Ryu's turn in battle(even if he's dead)"
"...This game is evil"
SO YES. EVIL, EVIL GAME! ...not that this will spoil my enjoyment of the game. It's just evil. Sooooo evil.

mmm, sweet sweet KaZaA Lite. At times, I'm really pissed off about the bandwidth-death when I run it (sharing 1807 files right now, and there are /always/ people downloading at least five), but when you get msg's thanking you for sharing... Yeah, that's good.

"Record industry isn't too big a part of the economy. A hit on it doesn't affect us too much, I'd just either go out and spend that tax cut or put it in the bank. Money in the bank produces a lot more money anyway, more money = economy goes up.
At least thats how they teach it in Econ 201. And before you say "inflation" I'll say "stuff it, thats simply not how inflation works."
The problem, as I see it, is that people WERE willing to pay 20 bucks a CD, because they had no alternatives. Now that you can get songs in MP3 format for free, the record industry either has to give you something you can't get off the 'net (special feature CDs, etc) AND make their products acceptably cheap, or die.
Its how capitalism works, you greedy fucks. You got rich by it, and by God you can get poor by it. Deal.

Hmm...I found a way to get lots of money in DC2! However, I have to press the X button twice for each 150 Gilda I want...and it maxes out at 150,000 Gilda. Eh, whatever. Mmm, cheating.
