OMFG are people REALLY this computerly inept?!?!??! Customer: "My computer crashed!" Tech Support: "It crashed?" Customer: "Yeah, it won't let me play my game." Tech Support: "Alright, hit Control-Alt-Delete to reboot." Customer: "No, it didn't crash -- it crashed." Tech Support: "Huh?" Customer: "I crashed my game. That's what I said before. Now it doesn't work."? Turned out, the user was playing Lunar Lander and crashed his spaceship. Tech Support: "Click on 'File,'? then 'New Game.'" Customer: [pause] "Wow! How'd you learn how to do that?" And this is great - 2.) If we the store does not carry an item you're looking for, they really do, but are saying they don't just to spite you. The solution to this is to get angry and storm out the door, threatening to go to the store's main competitor. This will mortify all employees of the store, (who hate you, remember?) because they know they have now lost your business and will not be allowed to sell you the item they do not have.
